DYLAN KOSSON

Dylan Kosson joined Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy, P.C. in 2023. Before joining the firm, Dylanworked for five years in-house at a large labor union representing federal employees, where hehandled a wide variety of cases concerning collective bargaining, employee discipline, contractgrievances, and a host of issues affecting workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. His work as in-house counsel also made him experienced in subjects of union administration such as unionelections, constitutions, membership drives, and internal union discipline.

Dylan has conducted numerous hearings as lead advocate in arbitration proceedings as well as before administrativebodies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board, and Disciplinary Appeals Boards for nurses and doctors at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Dylan also served as trustee for two local unions. In that capacity, Dylan acted as union president and built up the locals under his trusteeship by identifying and training new leadership as well as handling the concerns of every employee who contacted him.

Dylan graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2017. While in law school, he was active in the Labor and Employment Law Society and president of the Kent Justice Foundation (KJF), which raises money for law students to work public interest jobs during their summers between semesters.

Dylan grew up in Rockland County, New York and graduated from the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, New Jersey in 2012. Before law school, Dylan worked as a ghost writer and an aide to a personal injury attorney in Bergen County, New Jersey. He enjoys playing piano and riding his bike when it’s warm enough.
