Since 1980, Karen Engelhardt has been involved in promoting justice and fairness for her clients.  Karen’s career began representing low income individuals as a staff attorney at Cook County Legal Assistance Foundation.

Angie Cowan Hamada primarily represents labor unions, employees and benefit funds. Angie is a shareholder at Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy, where she has practiced law since 2005.  An experienced advocate for both private and public sector unions.


Wesley Kennedy

Wes Kennedy has spent his career as an advocate for workers rights. For more than 30 years, he has represented unions, benefit funds and employees – since 1995 as a founding shareholder and before that as an associate and partner with the firm Cotton, Watt, Jones & King.



N. Elizabeth Reynolds

N. Elizabeth Reynolds has represented unions, benefit funds, and employees for more than 20 years.  She joined Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy, P.C. in 1998 and has been a shareholder in the firm since 2005. 


Michael H. Slutsky

Michael H. Slutsky is a founding shareholder of Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy, P.C. He has practiced law since 1978, concentrating in union-side labor law, individual employment law, and litigation. Mike devotes a substantial part of his practice to the representation of unions representing public school teachers, other educational employees, and other public employees.
