Josiah A. Groff has been associated with Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy, P.C. since his law school graduation in May 2006.

At George Washington University Law School, Mr. Groff was the President of the George Washington chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, volunteered at the D.C. Employment Justice Center, participated in the first ABA Section on Labor and Employment Law mock trial competition and received the ABA/BNA Labor and Employment Award. Through the D.C. Superior Court’s Student Practice program and the Law Students in Court clinic, Mr. Groff represented tenants in landlord/tenant matters before D.C. Superior Court’s landlord/tenant division and in D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs hearings.

Mr. Groff’s practice is devoted primarily to the representation of unions and employee benefit funds in the private and public sectors.

During law school, Mr. Groff worked with the United Electrical, Radio, and Machine Workers of America (UE) through the Peggy Browning Fellowship program,  and was a law clerk in the Office of the AFL-CIO
